Santa Delivers started off its journey on the same day Aadarsh Choudhary and Harsh Kandoi got their CAT results in December 2014.
They have been all friends for long time since school and they wanted to start something of their own but the restaurant industry was flooded with it they decided to find a market which was untapped. They started at a very low scale but things turned out in our favour unless 2 of them had to go for MBA which was a crucial decision. But even after that they were able to manage the business. Later to provide Santa Delivers an all new dimension, they had roped in one of their good friends Pulkit Kejriwal to be a part of their start up.

“I was in Hyderabad when this idea of delivering food that too late night struck me. This happened when I was hungry and it was way past midnight. So then, I thought of solving this problem in Kolkata and this journey of ‘ Santa Delivers’ started.” –
“We all 3 partners are from the same school. We came together for Santa Delivers as we saw immense Potential in midnight food delivery. As there was a huge dearth and no proper solution to hunger pangs at such odd hours. We constituted the idea to develop Calcutta’s first food tech startup company” –
The Dishes We Had :
we had tried three types of shakes which was packed with love and utmost care.
Chocolate shake – Made with creamy, fresh milk ingredients and chocolate syrup, it’s so thick it barely makes it up the straw.
Vanilla shake – Nothing is as pleasing as a long, cold draw of Vanilla Shake handcrafted with Fresh Frozen Custard. A perfect summer treat for anyone.
Strawberry shake – Delicious refreshing beverage made using milk and Strawberry Syrup i guess. A good old-fashioned strawberry milkshake. Why eat dinner when you can drink a shake ?
we had lots of types of starter to initiate our dinner for the day.
Crispy chili baby corn –
This indo chinese recipe is a hit with many folks.This chilli baby corn recipe is a crisp version and a semi dry dish. This makes for an excellent starter or side dish for home parties or regular weekends. This dish made with batter coated, double fried baby corns sautéed in a palatable and yummy spice mix. The spice mix is an amalgamation of various sauces like green sauce, soya sauce, tomato ketchup, and vinegar and spiced with red chilli powder. A lovely flavour. Had a crisp texture and a subtle, slightly sweet corn flavour.
Chili chicken –
Chilli Chicken is a mouth-watering Indo Chinese chicken recipe, here fried chicken is cooked in the combination of Indian vegetables and Chinese flavors and turned into delicious and simply irresistible starter. Here boneless chicken are marinated in Egg, Cornflour, Maida and Salt and then deep fried and seasoned in sauces to get the best Chinese chilli chicken.
Garlic noodles – Spicy Chilli Garlic Noodles is prepared with the combination of garlic and red chillies. This Indo-chinese recipe makes a great party dish. I ate every single strand of noodle left on my plate. Let me tell you, they were AWESOME! The noodles had a great balance of salty and sweet making them a great compliment to any main dish. Totally addictive… BEWARE.
Chicken skewers – This is one of my favorite recipes for entertaining. Chicken thighs are marinated in a tangy Middle Eastern-style blend of yogurt, lemon, garlic and spices, then grilled on skewers until golden brown. I was kind of addicted to it, because it turned out to be very delicious..It was spicy and juicy and smoky.
Chicken Lollipop – Chicken Lollipop is one of the most popular and famous Chicken appetizers in restaurants. A succulent treat that lives up to the name. This is a simple to make indo chinese appetizer in which the chicken wings are spiced up and deep fried. Crispy, crunchy, succulent, irresistible chicken lollipops, YUM YUM YUM !!
Main Course & Side Dishes :
Jeera rice – It was a flavourful and delicious Indian rice dish. This was a wonderfully cumin flavored rice that enhances the flavor of the evening !! A tasty and popular rice recipe from North Indian.
Egg Chicken Noodles – Chinese Hakka noodles is a scrumptious delight made from Hakka noodles. The Chinese recipe is very famous in India and is served as street food as well as in fine dining restaurants as a main. It is one of the most colorful.
Mixed Fried rice – Mixed fried rice, a popular Asian cuisine is basically a signature Chinese cuisine. This Mixed Fried Rice was a tasty, and filling dish containing variety of fresh vegetables, chicken and egg. We loved it.
Shahi Pulao – Kashmiri shahi pulao is a very popular exotic Kashmiri rice dish prepared with dry fruits, nuts and fresh fruits. I was awed by their presentation and taste that urged me to try it. It was aromatic and mildy sweet, flavoured with spices and saffron with the crunch of fruits, dry fruits. Such a Nice taste with least amount of oil.
Chicken Kasha – Remember those road side dhabas along the highway and the delicious smelling chicken which made you hungry and your mouth water ? This dish was perfect combo of patience and passion. The gravy was surprisingly tasty than it seemed in actual. Was perfect partner for the day with Naan.
Chicken bharta – It was a dhaba style chicken preparation where shredded chicken was cooked and eggs in a spicy creamy gravy. The gravy was very thick and mouthwatering. Was going great with Naan too.
Dal makhani – Dal makhani is a treasured staple food, originally from Punjab in North India. A creamy, spicy and buttery dal preparation made with whole black Urad dal and Chana dal. It was very simple but yet so tasty. And we had it with Jeera rice which was almost perfect foil to each other.
Paneer butter masala – It is one of the most popular paneer recipes in Indian cuisine. It was a perfect combination of spiciness and creaminess of masala made it simply irresistible and yummy with full of amazinf flavour.
Overall I must say, the food was amazing. just enough heat and spice to make it interesting and not overbearing. The menu list is modest, but reasonably priced and caters for most tastes.Chinese and north Indian have always been their signature. The food is heavenly and its value for money. With prompt delivery, availability till midnight and the portion they serve its really a class option to order and enjoy good food sitting at your home with minimal headache.
