See what Cocoa can do for you

“Oh, comfortable cocoa!” ― Dodie Smith, I Capture the Castle

The Curtain Raiser of  Cocoa Bakery – Cocoa Bakery unveils Holi Hampers at its Newly opened Second Outlet at Woodburn Park, Kolkata.

It is just wow,  how a tiny little place (surrounded by giant buildings in the hustle and bustle of Mintu Park) can create a great comfortable location for cozy bakery cum cafe joint.

img_20170302_175325If you need gluten free this place is heaven for breakfast or brunch. A wide array of pastries and cakes, along with a full cafe menu. Very cute place but quite small, so can get busy. If you are able to get a table, it is an absolute delight.

Cakes, Pastries, Patties, Breads, Burgers, Wraps & sandwiches, Crepes, Soups & Salads, Espresso, Tea, Coolers…Just an never ending  options to enjoy a good food ride. The options included both vegetarian and non vegetarian main courses too. Searching for gifting ideas along with good food ? Yes , Baby shower gifts, Wedding Gift packs , Gift Hampers, Corporate Gift packs all are available here !!

The atmosphere was so comfortable and the service was very friendly. I stumbled into this place by invitation and was so pleased.  Satisfy your sweet cravings at Cocoa Bakery with assorted macaroons, Soft and gooey in the center; firm on the outside. Delicious!!!

The Dishes We Had :

Sparkling Watermelon – Watermelon is so sweet and juicy that it is practically a beverage right off the vine. A bit of added water made it truly quaffable. If you need a little something more than water on occasion, try this refreshing watermelon juice. Either way, it’s a nice summer cooler.
Boston Chicken Wings – These reinvented wings are simmered in fat and charred on the grill before being doused in Traditional Hot sauce of Boston. But we hardly need a special reason to gorge ourselves on one of the best starter in existence: chicken wings.

Fish sponge ball (Chef Special for Bloggers’ Meet – not in menu) – Fish balls are a staple of Chinese cooking and are used in a wide array of dishes. Other than in the Philippines, fish balls are also hugely popular in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.. If you’ve been craving perfectly fried fish balls, this may be the one best place in town to provide you soft, tender, crispy fish balls. The balls, primarily made from fish meat ground to a paste, are deep-fried until golden brown. The soft, meaty fish balls were just amazing !!

Spinach Mushroom Crepe – Try these crepes, filled with spinach and meaty mushrooms and topped with crumbled goat cheese, for a light supper. This was absolutely delicious with right consistent filling. Treat yourself to these gorgeous spinach & mushroom crepes. You won’t be disappointed!

Dense Chocolate Pastry – We couldn’t agree more. It was fantastically rich. It’s rare that I enjoy a chocolate dessert without pausing. That buttery, flaky pastry with its soft chocolate center may have been my first great love, it was hardly my last at Cocoa Bakery.
