Rozario’s in to the Next Generation

I have taken long time to Pen down this blog. Really Long !! Started it long time back. But due to some technical problem I lost my Hard Disk data. I was also bit lazy to complete this up.

This store belongs to my Dear Friend Christia, Daughter of renowned Chef Pradip Rozario. Sorry Christia for late upload.

Maybe a party is not your thing? But I really do think you need to hold some sort of social gathering; a potluck dinner, whatever at this cozy outlet. But you need to host it with s many people as you can and you need to do it soon. Why?

Because you need to make and share the wonderful dishes with a food-coma-induing various sauce as,because it will catapult you to foodie king/ queen.

This is an awesome upscale greasy spoon. The Mexican food is great and the Italian is awesome. Pretty much home cooking, or just as good. All of it is reasonably priced. All this and if you go more than once and you really get to know the people that work there. It’s like family.

After entering you will find a Preservation Kiosk, where so many dishes and ingredients have been displayed beautifully which really made you thriving for the food as soon as possible.

I’ve eaten here several times in the last few years and it’s always consistently good food! I could eat Mexican food every night of the week.

We a group of fellow foodie went and had lunch few days back and it was delicious as usual.

Service was great, very attentive.

Starters:

Veg  Seekh Kebab – Served with Sweet Chilli Mayo. Delicious Veg Kebab made using ingredients like lentil and vegetable ! a touch of Mayo over the top and beautifully presented in small Shot Glass along with Pudia Chatni. DSC_0034

Paneer wrapped in noodle satay – served with salad and pickle. Sticks of cottage cheese, marinated in green herbs and spices wrapped around with noodles deep fried and tossed in sauce with a touch of indian flavour !KRI08973KRI08979

Thai Curry Chicken Satay – Thai Curry marinated Chicken tenders, skewers and grilled. Thai-inspired flavors infused into each bite. Tenderly grilled white meat and curry powder concoction.KRI08955

Balinese Chicken Satay – served with salad and basil rice. The Show stopper of the starters. The satay, infused with minced lemon grass. An aromatic satay indeed. This was thick and chunky, not a thin dipping. Because I like to DOLLOP it on! Though Satay Chicken is better known as Thai or Malaysian food, it actually originated from Indonesia and this Indonesian version is by far the best.

Kalum Wonton : These crunchy golden wontons will make you the star of the party. A delicious fried appetizer. This appetizer consists of a chicken that is stuffed into wonton wrappers and fried in hot oil.

Main course:

Pescado Cilantro with Basil Rice – Tangy fish and prawn mexican dish, served with basil rice. Fresh fish, grilled and sautéed in a spicy homemade sauce which was hot and tangy enough to tantalize your taste buds. Basil Rice, the flavors in this bowl of comfort are a culinary transition from summer to fall.  Garden basil blended with warm, creamy, slow roasted garlic.  Need I say more?

Salsa Salccicia – Spaghetti served with house going pork sausage .  A hint of garlic flavour mixed with tomato and chili Sauce. Who cares , just sign me up.  Quality ingredients, inventive yet comfortable.  Flavorful, satisfying noodles that would make my taste buds happy without causing my abdomen to kill me later.

Dessert:

Crepe Fanstasia – Sweet Chocolate Crepes, rolled and stuffed with Vanila Ice cream and ganache served in a beautifully designed pot shaped plate with a lid. Impress your loved ones with this Cute looking desserts.  It was more like a second dinner made entirely of ice cream, chocolate, and sugar. In other words: awesome.

Dessert Tacos – Who wouldn’t love a delicious, dark chocolate taco shell filled with ice cream, whipped cream and sprinkles ? The taco is such a beloved culinary treasure because it’s kind of portable, you can have it irrespective of stuff just about anything inside of it and, as such, you can eat it at any time of the day. DSC_0092DSC_0097
