So I’ve been a little absent on my blog for the last few weeks. I have a really good excuse. I’ve been in totally Festive mood for the few weeks. I had every intention of doing my usual blogging while I was gone, but HOLY COW, It was such a fun weeks, but did I mention it was overwhelming?
I can’t seem to understand the bad reviews for this restaurant, I have never had a bad experience and you can see how often I come here. They are a bit short staffed, and sometimes it is hard to get food to go, but the quality of the food is always consistently good.
Service is outstanding. Management is welcoming, warm, and professional. They know what they’re doing, and they’re doing it well. We LOVED this restaurant for their congenial service AND fabulous food.
I can really do the endorsement for this brand for sure as its really suits my choice and I am the proud owner of my Bif Fat Belly.
Anyways lets come to Food department..
The food we had –
Watermelon Mojito – This watermelon mojito is the perfect summer’s mocktail – colorful, refreshing . You’ll be sipping them all summer long. This Watermelon Mint Mojito deserves the best when you deserve this drink. Go on…sit back and enjoy your day with one of these frosty and perfectly summery libations. Cheers!
Gooey Cheese Cigars – These look divine and they are totally vegetarian-Yipee. Rolling the phyllo dough makes such a lovely presentation, love this idea. This looks like an amazing appetizer! And its really delivered to my expectation ! Aromatic and delicious dish. I’d eat all of these on my own!
Fish Fingers – Marinated fish fingers dipped coated with bread crumbs and deep fried, a popular starter. It’s an absolute breeze to have this dish. It’s packed with flavours. These have a crispy crust and tender, flaky fish on the inside. The crispiness was good enough. Sauce was tasty.
Bellisma french fries – At their best, they are everything a french fry should be: salty, crisp, light, and not greasy. The fries had a distinctly fluffier interior and crispier outer .
Green Apple Ice Tea – This refreshing healthy green apple iced tea is perfect for any occasion. It taste exactly like a green apple jolly rancher. Delicious and quick.
Al Funghi Pizza – Simple pizza are the best! Too often they can look more like a salad than a pizza. This here looks like one that I would really enjoy. Pizza base topped with mushrooms, cheese tomato puree and Italian herbs. An ideal choice for vegetarians and adds an extra taste to your pizza.
Al-Pachino Pizza – Looking for a nice change to your family pizza night? Well this is such a great recipe! It has all my favorites: grilled chicken, yummy creamy Italian tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese ! They kept it pretty basic, but I see endless possibilities with this Pizza.
Chicken Juicy Lucy Burger – Juicy Lucy is a cheeseburger that has the cheese inside the meat patty instead of on top, resulting in a melted core of cheese within the patty. They have created their own interpretations on the style with an oozing cheese filling it ! Just be sure to have it with plenty of napkins! I didn’t discover the joys of Juicy Lucy burgers until just a few years ago, but they’re one of my favorite retro burgers. I mean, who doesn’t like a burger with a hidden pocket of cheese inside?
The Big Bong Burger – These Kosha Mangso or lamb burgers are grilled to perfection. They’re juicy and flavorful, served on a toasted bun with ultimate cheese sauce, Fried Egg presented with Onion Rings, Kasundi Mayo Mustard served with French Fries. The flavor of lamb meat paired well with more sophisticated cheeses. Altogether? Everything I had hoped for. The lamb shone, the sauce was amazing, the cheese gave it that great tang and the sweetness and crunch of the onion rings was the perfect touch.
Chicken Risotto – Risotto is a culinary art of its own. This risotto incorporates the fresh and vibrant flavor of roasted tomatoes and garlic with the wonderful texture and flavor of melted mozzarella. A simple yet elegant dish.
Grilled Fish in Gondhoraj Lemon – A lemony treat to all fish lovers. Traditional aromatic kaffir lime and Thai herbs gets added to the marinade of basa giving it a fresh aroma and citrusy flavour. An absolute winner – the flavours were delicious.
Bacon Bomb – A Chef’s special. Bacon sheets stuffed wrapped with minced Masala Pork blended with cheese and topped with a fried egg. Was gong through the Menu Card. Sooo, I was sitting around , just thinking about how nice it would be to pop a hot, gooey, cheesy, bacon wrapped fried egg into my mouth, yep, that’s what I was doing. Dish was just delivered and fulfilled expectation ! Take a good, close look at this before you have them, because it’ll be gone in a matter of seconds…
Blueberry Cheese Cake – This Easy Blueberry Cheesecake Dessert with a light and creamy no-bake cheesecake layer is a fabulous stay -ahead dessert choice for any time of year! Do you think I could cut this in half and share ? No Way !
Chocolate Decadent Mousse – Deeeelicious! Sinful! Decadent! Sometimes it is ok to relish in those things, and this dessert is one of those times. Wow was the dessert, rich and lovely mousse texture.
Tiramisu – As a Tiramisu-Lover, I decided to try this dessert, based on the reviews. The only thing I can say is WOW!!!! The RICH & CREAMY flavor. It was probably better than any Tiramisu I’d ever tasted. We got that espresso taste, blended with the creamy flavor – HEAVENLY!
It ll always get my business every time we come Bhawanipur ! I have never been disappointed. The dining experience is casual and comfortable. The food is exceptional . And the wait staff has always been pleasant . We may try other places but BFB will never be crossed off our list of places to visit while we are in thsi area. The food was EXCELLENT and surpassed by their service. We cannot tell you how lovely this meal was for us after a really hard day of traveling. We will remember this place and recommend it to anyone nearby.
