Saraswati puja used to be our main attraction in school days. We had to wake up in the dawn and bathe in that chilling weather.
Used to go to school for for “Anjali”, and the bhog served post Puja tempted us more.
Things are not same these days, and I really miss my school days.
Food has been always center of attraction in my life. Still remember the days when we used to wait in long que for Khichuri and Chatni in school. This had been my routine for Saraswati puja for the beautiful school days of my life.
Pulao specially Misti / Basanti Pulao is my all time favourite.
This year we #MunchingMonks had the opportunity to relive school days once again by having authentic Bengali Platter on Saraswati Puja.
Chicken was the added attraction, as we had not had pleasure to taste it in our school life on Saraswati Puja days.
Full Niramish was the way to go !!
