Despite what people might add as far as ratings go for the place for dining-in, It’s not the best. I’ve seen worse. One thing I can say is for sure is that their food is delicious.
This place is truly a diamond in the rough. Looks a little small ti fit into but food and service is great. Prices are pretty reasonable and good portions. Mainly a take away outlet with few sitting arrangements for dine in !
The menu is actually quite vast. A good place for a reasonably priced meal in the city!
The service is FAST because the chefs never stop. Literally almost the second you order, the food will arrive. Turnover is quick but there’s no pressure to eat quickly. You’ll probably want to dash though because the place is small and not very relaxing.
Chilli Garlic Lamb – Oh my! That lamb was gorgeous! The chunks melting in the mouth was like a beautiful piece of lamb. At the same time the skin was crispy too and the meat ever so tender.
Mayo Garlic Fish Dry – Salted fish and slivers of shredded garlic tossed with Mayo was comfort food reminiscent of good old childhood days !Nice consistency which comes from the specially blended mixture.
Chef’s Style Meifoon – This is the real star of the show, the unsung hero of China Bite. Not many people know that China Bite serves a very authentic Meifoon that any Asian food lover will recognise instantly. Imagine an omelette with stir fry noodles on the inside. That’s what these egg parcels are all about. It’s a fun way to shake up your meal!
Chicken Hakka Noodles – They were just what I wanted – really thin fine noodles, fried up street food style and just perfect with any side dish.
Devils Chicken – I thought that it was a bit different and felt more like a spicy sweet and sour sauce the Devils i have had before swimming in a rich curry with loads of herbs.
Chicken Fried Rice – It was decent, was very light and there was a good proportion offered in serving.
Wok Tossed Prawn in Chilli Garlic Sauce – The sauce which accompanies the prawns here however seems to be more to the savoury side compared to the ones I tasted recently.
Service was fast and the menu is pretty good, giving you an Indian Chinese flavour and feel. Want to come back and taste again. It was my first time here, it definitely not a last time.
