I wasn’t sure that a place that listed itself as a sweet shop first would really be a good restaurant, and I’m so glad I put that concern aside when my friends and I were looking for a place to have a nice dinner. It was so delicious!
Hands down one of my favorite Indian Sweet Shop. I have been to this place few times for Indian sweets. I had pleasant experience every single time.
This shop is located in the back of a strip of Rangoli Mall, packed with storefronts. Don’t let the layout of the place discourage you – I promise it’s worth it. When you enter, the display of sweets dominates that little shop. Aside from that, there are maybe enough seats for 15-20 people. We chose to dine in.
The staff was friendly and attentive. We had a good assortment of masala paper dosa, Chola Batura, and of course, sweets afterward.
I took sweets for my friend. She came here few days back in hometown to spend holiday season. The staff helped me by packing it well for the travel.
I think they make sweets in small batches unlike other competitive brands in market and hence they are very fresh. I bought Elaichi Soan Papri (her favourite) along with Besan Ladoo from the several desserts on display.
In the end, I would say you should definitely try this place at least once. Some things are completely subjective to your personal taste and preference.
